Warranty, Return, and Shipping Terms
Thin Air Gear takes great pride in the quality of its products. Therefore we warrant to the original purchaser that our products are free from defects in material and workmanship for the life of the product. Since no product is indestructible, our warranty does not cover issues attributable to, or resulting from, the natural breakdown of materials that occurs inevitably with extended use, or defects caused by accident, abuse, alteration, natural hazards (i.e. weather, animals, ultraviolet [UV] damage), misuse or improper care. The life of the product is determined from the date of purchase until such time as the product is no longer serviceable due to normal wear and tear. Any product thought to be defective should be returned to Thin Air Gear for evaluation and will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Products sent for repair must be cleaned prior to sending. There are no other warranties, express or implied, beyond the terms of this warranty. In no event shall Thin Air Gear LLC be liable for incidental or consequential damages arising out of or resulting from the use of a Thin Air Gear product.
Return Policy:
Thin Air Gear accepts merchandise returns within 30 days of the original receipt date and will issue a refund at the time of return, after inspection, and only with a valid proof of purchase. A valid proof of purchase is an original sales invoice or packing slip.
Shipping Limitations: When an order is placed, it will be shipping to an address designated by the purchaser as long as that shipping address is compliant with the shipping restrictions contained on this Web Site. All purchases from this Web Site are made pursuant to a shipment contract. As a result, risk of loss and title for items purchased from this Web Site pass to you upon delivery of the items to the carrier. You are responsible for filing any claims with carriers for damaged and/or lost shipments.
Please email us at support@thinairgear.com (M-F 8am – 5pm) to obtain a Return Authorization Number (Please include your Order ID along with reason for return within your email).
- All returns must be shipped with a Return Authorization number noted
- All products must be returned within the original or unopened condition (all contents with original packaging, stuff sacks, storage sacks, hangtags, etc.)
- Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable with the exception of defective merchandise
- Postage will not be refunded on returns due to personal dislikes
- Return turn-around time can take up to 2-weeks
- Refunds will be issued upon receipt and review of your return
- All returns must be sent back to Thin Air Gear via UPS (Please keep your tracking number for your records)
- A 20% restocking fee may be applied to return orders
- Sale price and limited edition purchases are final, and do not qualify for a refund or return
At Thin Air Gear, our goal is to deliver your purchase in the quickest and most efficient way possible. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at Checkout. All shipments are sent via UPS with the exception of APO, Alaska and Hawaii deliveries which will be shipped via USPS. At this time we do not accept deliveries to PO Boxes and do not ship internationally (US shipments only).
